In 2014, a consortium was formed between Recas and China Railway International Group Co.,Ltd (CRIG) to bid the comprehensive redevelopment of the Yangon Central Railways Station in Myanmar.  RECAS acted as the lead developer and sponsor of the consortium.  CRIG, a wholly owned subsidiary of China Railway Group Limited, acted as the design and build contractor for the comprehensive development.
